Q: What is Connect-Now?
A: Connect-Now is a free-service organization started by three Vanderbilt University undergraduates with the aim of helping high school students begin and initiate service projects within their communities.

Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Connect-Now is completely free.
Q: Why do we need Connect-Now?
A: Getting involved with service can be a huge undertaking.  Often times, the process can be very overwhelming and there can be many roadblocks along the way.  Connect-Now aims to help students develop projects in which they have a strong interest, project in which every component has been thoroughly mapped out, and projects that have the ability to become successes.

Q: Do I need a history of service?
A: We don't require our applicants to have a past history of service.  However, it is helpful for students to have had experience volunteering in organizations.  For those students without prior experience, we do look for a strong desire to serve as well as a high degree of motivation to carry through out the project to completion.

Q: How old do I have to be to use Connect-Now's services?
A: Age is not necessarily a restricting factor to be able to use Connect-Now.  We are looking for students who have a passion for service and for benefiting their community.  If a student shows exceptional ability or motivation to do a service project, we will happily consider their application.

Q: Who are you guys and what makes you qualified?
A: We're three Vanderbilt undergraduate students who have had extensive knowledge conducting service projects throughout the United States in a variety of fields.  Additionally, we have developed and carried out service projects abroad from Nicaruaga to Chile to Kenya.  Our high school service activties culminated in the recognition and awarding of total scholarships valued at over $1 million dollars.  Through the prestigious Ingram Scholarship Program at Vanderbilt University as well as contacts made through previous scholarship events, we have built an extensive network of other highly successful college students who can help us connect you to the service area that you are passionate about.
